Kwon Yu Ri (권유리) or people generally known as Yuri (유리) is member of South Korean girl group Girls' Generation or SNSD. Yuri name same meaning with glass in Korean. Yuri is the sexiest member among the member of the Girls' Generation, many netizens praise her beauty. Her image is that of sexiness, but she's also known for her "kkab" same meaning with crazy / hyper, playful acts. Yuri gained the nickname “BK Yuri” after she threw an impressive underhand opening pitch at a baseball game back in 2007. The nickname is taken from  Byunghyun Kim, a former major league player known for his underhand pitch.

Yuri graduated from NeungGok High School and is currently attending ChungAng University's Department of Theater along with Bigbang Seungri and her band mate Sooyoung is her senior in the same department. Yuri joined at SM Entertainment after she won auditioned at second place in the 2001 SM Youth Best Dancer Contest. In 2007, Yuri put into group Girls' Generation or SNSD. In July 2007 Girls' Generation had their unofficial first stage performance with their single 'Into the New World' on Mnet School of Rock. On August 5, 2007 Girls’ Generation had their official debut stage on SBS Inkigayo with their single debut 'Into the New World'.

Although her ability to dance very well, but Yuri including the slowest member in learning new moves. She takes about three days to learn new moves. Yuri also often make mistakes when performing, but fortunately she is rarely caught on camera when making a mistake. Yuri including the most ignorant member just like Yoona. During adolescence, Yuri is a tomboyish girl and very naughty. She did not have many female friends until she got in Girls' Generation. Yuri says she likes cried, and therefore Yuri cried most of the time, if she is talking about Girls' Generation member.

Yuri has a great talent on writing, she wrote the lyrics to one of Girls' Generation ballads, titled "Mistake". The song was included in Girls' Generation third mini album. On July 26, 2007 Yuri appeared in a Super Junior's movie "Attacks of the pin up boys", she played as ballerina who in the end get in a dance group with Super Junior Heechul and Donghae. In 2009 until 2010 and 2011 until 2012, Yuri co-hosted the Korean music program MBC Show! Music Core  her band mate Tiffany. In April 2010, Yuri with Yoona and Seohyun, along with 2PM Nichkhun, Taecyeon and Chansung, she filmed a commercial for Everland's Caribbean Bay. On December 27, 2011 Yuri was cast in a lead role television drama ‘Fashion King’. In March 2012 she was chosen as the new model of Mamonde, a cosmetic product with her label mate Super Junior Siwon.
