Cho Kyuhyun (조규현) or his stage name Kyuhyun (규현) is maknae (in korea language) or the youngest member of South Korean boyband Super Junior. Kyuhyun had Chinese name, Zhao Kui Xian (趙奎賢). Kyuhyun's father is an education business and he has a school. Kyuhyun's mother also runs an art academy and a cafe. If not a singer. Kyuhyun was urged to become a lawyer. At first his father opposed his dream of becoming a singer but allowed him to do so if he did well on his college entrance exams and was accepted in a university. In 2005, Kyuhyun's singing talents were discovered after he won third place at the Chin Chin Singing Competition. Super Junior had debuted on November 6, 2005 but Kyuhyun was added to the group a year later in 2006. In May 2006, Kyuhyun officially become part of Super Junior. On May 27th, 2006 Kyuhyun debuted with Super Junior at SBS's I-Concert with Super Junior's new single 'U'.
In November 2006 Kyuhyun get into Super Junior subgroup. He goes into Super Junior K.R.Y together with Ryeowook and Yesung. On November 5th, 2006 their debuted on KBS
's Music Bank. In April 2008, Kyuhyun become a member of Super Junior-M together with Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, Hang Geng and two non Super Junior members Henry and Zhou Mi. In 2011 Super Junior-M additional members from Super Junior, Sungmin and Eunhyuk joined the group. In 8 April 2008 Kyuhyun and Super Junior-M debut with their single debut 'U' in China at the 8th Annual Music Chart Awards. On April 18, 2007 Leeteuk, Shindong, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun were injured in a car accident. Eunhyuk and Shindong suffered only bruises with some scratches, but Leeteuk had scratches on his back and his face, and must be received 150 stitches. While Kyuhyun who was sitting behind the driver's seat, the most severely injured. Kyuhyun's father was the first to immediately reject the operation stating that
Kyuhyun would rather die than not be able to sing. When
Kyuhyun's father was arguing with a doctor, another doctor from china named Professor Wang YongJok provide a solution to perform the operation in other ways so that
Kyuhyun can sing again. Finally God gives salvation
Kyuhyun so five months later his condition improved and
Kyuhyun can sing again.
