Jung Soo Jung (정수정) or her stage name Krystal (크리스탈) is maknae (the youngest in korean language) of South Korea girl group f(x). Although a maknae in f(x) but its nature tends to be more adult than Sulli. Krystal is member with Korean-American Nationality. Krystal was born in San Francisco, California on October 24th, 1994. Krystal had brother and Sister Girls' Generation Jessica. However, compared to her sister Jessica, Krystal was more similar to Girls' Generation Yoona or Yuri, member of her sister's group.

In 2000, Krystal and her family trip to South and while shopping at a Lotte Department Store. She and her Sister Girls' Generation Jessica were spotted by a talent agency SM Entertainment, which earned her a cameo appearance in Shinhwa's "Wedding March" music video. SM Entertainment saw potential in both Krystal and Jessica become SM Entertainment trainee. However, the offer was turned down by her parents, reasoning that Krystal was too young. Therefore, her parents at first only allowed Jessica to join the agency who debuted as a member of Girls' Generation in August 2007. 

In 2006, Krystal was recruited as an SM Entertainment trainee in the "2006 SM Casting System" and her parents allowed her to join SM Entertainment. Krystal began modeling in several CF's by age 13 before she become f(x) member. On September 1, 2009 Krystal and her group f(x) debuted with their single 'La Cha Ta'. Krystal gained early interest amongst netizens due to being the younger sister of Girls' Generation Jessica. In 2009, she appeared in SHINee's MV "Juliette" as the main female protagonist. In 2010, Krystal appeared on Let's Go Dream Team 2, where she broke a high jump record that had been set on the show 10 years ago. She now holds the women's high jump record of 1.95m. Krystal also appeared in High Kick! Season 3 as Ahn Soojung.
