Huang Zi Tao ( 黄子韬) or his stage name Tao (타오) is maknae in Korea language or the youngest member Chinese-South Korean boyband EXO-M, EXO subgroup. Tao is a martial artist, and has been practicing Wushu since he was six years old. He has won first placed for many wushu competitions. He was also awarded as 3rd Place in International Wushu Competition and 1st Place in Qingdao Broadcasting Wushu Sword Competition. Tao is a formal pupil at Humen Centre Primary School, one of the most prestigious primary schools in Qingdao, and Qindao Middle School. When he stayed in Hong Kong, Tao won first place in a free style rapping competition. He also won the “Top Rap Award” at Beijing 3rd Annual College Street Jam. In 2011, Tao was cast into S.M. Entertainment through the company's global casting system. Since he got to debut in less than a year being a trainee, he is often bullied by the Korean trainees.
On December 27, 2011 Tao become third person was formally introduced as a EXO-M member. On December 29, 2012 along with Luhan, Chen, and Exo-K's Kai, Tao made his first televised performance on SBS's Gayo Daejun event. Tao had personality very conservative, very emotional, and sensitive guy. Tao shares room with Xiumin in China and he shares room with the manager in Korea because at the beginning Tao's Korean language wasn't that good so he needed to learn more Korean and communicate.
