Kim Hyo Jung (김효정) or people generally knows as Hyo Rin (효린) is Leader, Main Vocalist, and Rapper from the popular girl band from South Korea, Sistar. Hyo Rin debuted with her girl group Sistar in 2010, with the single 'Push Push'. Before debuted with Sistar, Hyo Rin had auditioned twice for JYP Entertainment beforehand and was accepted on the second try. She originally planned to debut with Miss A's Min, Secret's Jieun, and EXID's Yuzi but however, fell and she was dropped from the label. She later auditioned for Starship and was accepted. 

Hyo Rin appeared in the variety show 'Immortal Song 2' from June until September in 2010. Hyo Rin released featured single "Ma Boy 2" with Electroboyz on October 17th. In 2012 Hyo Rin was cast as Nana a famous idol from the fictional girl group HershE in KBS2 Television Drama, Dream High Season 2 with Kang Sora, JJ Project JB, 2AM Jin Woon, T-ara Jiyeon, and Park Seo Joon. The drama begin broadcast in January 30th, 2012. That was the first debuted Hyo Rin as an actress. On March 12nd, 2012 Hyo Rin released her OST for KBS's Dream High 2 'I Know You'll Be A Superstar' with T-ara Jiyeon and Korean Singer Aliee.
