Xiumin was the next member that known with martial arts beside Tao. He has been practicing taekwondo. In EXO-M, he is the neatest, strongest, funniest and cleanest member. Zhang Yi Xing (张艺兴 ) or his stage name Lay (레이) is member Chinese-South Korean member EXO-M, EXO Chinese subgroup. He was supposed to be EXO-M’s leader but it was changed to Kris. In 2008, he was cast into S.M. Entertainment through the company's global casting system. Prior to joining S.M. Entertainment, Lay was a local child star in China, and made guest performances in various Chinese variety shows. In 2005, he also appeared 3rd place Star Academy in Hunan Economic TV. In 2011, Lay briefly worked for SHINee in their concert tour as Jonghyun's dance replacement. On January 17, 2012 Lay was formally introduced as a EXO-M member.

Huang Zi Tao ( 黄子韬) or his stage name Tao (타오) is maknae in Korea language or the youngest member Chinese-South Korean boyband EXO-M, EXO subgroup. Tao is a martial artist, and has been practicing Wushu since he was six years old. He has won first placed for many wushu competitions. He was also awarded as 3rd Place in International Wushu Competition and 1st Place in Qingdao Broadcasting Wushu Sword Competition. Tao is a formal pupil at Humen Centre Primary School, one of the most prestigious primary schools in Qingdao, and Qindao Middle School.  When he stayed in Hong Kong, Tao won first place in a free style rapping competition. He also won the “Top Rap Award” at Beijing 3rd Annual College Street Jam. In 2011, Tao was cast into S.M. Entertainment through the company's global casting system. Since he got to debut in less than a year being a trainee, he is often bullied by the Korean trainees.

Xi Lu Han (鹿晗) or his stage name Luhan (루한) is Chinese-South Korean boyband EXO-M, EXO subgroup. He graduated from the Beijing Shida Middle School and attended the Beijing Haidian Foreign Language Shi Yan School before leaving for South Korea to attend Yonsei University as an exchange student. Now, he attends the Seoul Institute of the Arts majoring in Applied Music.

In 2008, Luhan auditioned for JYP Entertainment's global audition held in China, but failed the audition. In 2010, Luhan joined SM when he went overseas to Korea to study attend Yonsei University as an exchange student and one day when he shopping in Myeongdong he got spotted by SM official representative who recommended him to audition for the company's annual S.M. Casting System. His audition was successful, and he was put into EXO in 2011. Before joined in SM Entertainment, he filmed music video with XING.

On December 27, 2011 Luhan was formally introduced as a EXO-M member. Li Jiaheng (李嘉恒 – Lǐ Jiāhéng) or his stage name is Kris is the leader Chinese-South Korean boyband EXO-M, EXO subgroup. He was supposed to be in EXO-K, but due to SM has a large share in the China market, he joined EXO-M. Kris has several different names, such as his Chinese name is Wu Fan  (吴凡 – Wú Fán) and his English name Kevin Wu/Kevin Li. Kris born in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China and He migrated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at a young age. He was the captain of a basketball team in China at the age of 15 years old. Kris fluent in 4 languages, Mandarin, English, Korean, and Cantonese. In 2007, Kris was cast into S.M. Entertainment through the S.M. Global Audition held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. 

On February 17, 2012 Kris was formally introduced as a EXO-M member. In 2011, before joined in EXO-M Kris made an appearance in an intermission video from the Taipei, Taiwan stop of the Girls' Generation Tour. Kris is fluent in four languages, English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Korean. On February 16, 2012 Kris was formally introduced as a EXO member. Other trainees and team members of EXO think of him as a big brother. His personality really cool but the fact he is an innocent, obedient, naive, very social and can talk to anyone.
