Bae Soo Ji (배수지) or her stage name Suzy is face of the korean group Miss A. Suzy has a chic face which is beautiful. She is attending Seoul Arts High School with F(x) Sulli, EXO-K Kai, and Jo twins, and several other artists. Before debuting, she was an online shopping mall model. In 2009, she auditioned for Mnet Superstar K and made it through the preliminary round but she was ultimately eliminated. However, she caught the attention of a scout from JYP Entertainment
and soon became a trainee. She was paired
with fellow members Fei and Jia and was set to debut in China. With the
sudden addition of Min into the group, the foursome prepared to debut as Miss A. She is the spokesperson of Miss A. She is the youngest member in the group and is the lead vocalist. Suzy can be said as the most famous one. Suzy and her other band members took one year to train before making their debut in July 2010 with the single "Bad Girl Good Girl".
Suzy became the host for MBC Show! Music Core alongside SHINee's Minho, SHINee's Onew, and T-ara Jiyeon. After that, Suzy hosted other shows such as Inkigayo, M! Countdown, the 21st Seoul Music Awards, M! countdwn Hello Japan, 26th Golden Disk Awards with F.T. Island's Hongki, and Mnet 20's Choice Awards with korean actor Song Joong K where she won an award under the category "hot new star of 2011".
Suzy held her first debut acting in KBS Television Drama 'Dream High' with korean actor Kim Soo Hyun, T-ara Eunjung, 2PM Taecyeon, 2PM Wooyoung, and singer IU. In Dream High she was cast as Go Hye Mi. Go Hye Mi originally from a wealthy family, after her mother's death, her father's
business failed and their family fell into debt and her father went to
Canada to get help from Hye mi's aunt. Hye mi is pursued by debt
collector Ma Doo Shik and his men for much of the beginning of the
drama. This drama was told in a love triangle between Go Hye Mi character played by Miss A Suzy, Song Sam Dong character played by Korean Actor Kim Soo Hyun, and Jin Guk character played by 2PM Taecyeon.
Suzy released her OST for KBS's Dream High 'Winter Child (겨울아이)', she sing solo and 'Dream High (드림하이)' feat Kim Soo Hyun, 2PM Taecyeon, 2PM Wooyoung, and singer JOO. After television drama Dream High on August, 2011 Suzy and 2PM Wooyoung make a cameo appearances in the new KBS Drama Special 'Human Casino'. Suzy first drama (Dream High) was a huge success so there will be a second part to the drama and it will be called Dream High Season 2. Suzy released her solo single for Dream High Season 2 OST 'You're My Star'. In 2012, Suzy also sings with the JJ Project in their mini album 'Bounce' with a single 'Before This Song Ends'.
