Lee Seung Hyun (이승현) or people generally known as Seungri is Maknae of South Korean Boyband Big BangSeungri is from Gwangjoo, the sixth major city in South Korea. Seungri nickname when Big Bang debuted, was "V" which is derived from Victory. YG's staff call him Maknae, which means the youngest in a family. Before joining in Big Bang, he was a member and leader of a dance team Ilhwan in Gwangjoo.


In 2005, Seungri appeared on television on the reality television series Let's Cokeplay: M.Net Battle Shinhwa, episode of Battle Shinhwa, a TV show to find the second Shinhwa, a famous boyband through auditions. In the thirteenth episode, he was eliminated because his singing isn't impressive enough, although he was noted for his dance skills. He was later scouted by the record label YG Entertainment and joined the group Big BangSeungri was choreographed a large portion of Big Bang's dances.


Seungri debuted in 2006 with his group Big Bang with G-Dragon, Taeyang, TOP, and Daesung. In 2008, Seungri became the first member of Big Bang to act in a drama musical with the performance in Sonagi. In 2009, Seungri and his bandmate Daesung performed in his next drama musical, Shouting. But Daesung was unable to perform at the last minute due to a car accident. Seungri and Daesung debuted as MC for  MBC's music program Show! Music Core. Seungri debuted as actor with his movie Why Did You Come to My House? with his bandmate TOPSeungri has released his first solo album, it’s called VVIP and he’s already scored top charting hits like What Can I do. Even though Seungri isn’t the best singer of Big Bang he does take the top spot when it comes to dancing. His MV for What Can I Do features a heavy electronic vibe with Seungri delivering his best moves.


In 2010,  Seungri was accepted into Chung-Ang University and began his college education, along with Yuri and Sooyoung of Girls' GenerationIn 2011 Seungri opened several schools in Korea, titled "Seungri Academy" who provided singing and dancing training. In 2012, Seungri dropped out of Chung-Ang University, after being placed on academic probation several times due to his demanding schedule with Big BangAfter dropping out of Chung-Ang University, he decided to continue his studies by enrolling at Gukje Digital University.
