Lee Jong Hyun (이종현) or people generally known as Jong Hyun (종현) is guitarist and vocalist of South Korean rock band CN Blue. Beside singer and guitarist, Jong Hyun is composer, lyricist, arranger, and actor. Jong Hyun was also former leader in CN Blue. He was become leader until January 2010 and replaced by Jung Yonghwa. Jong Hyun was born in Busan, South Korea on May 15, 1990. He lived in Busan before his family moved to Japan when he was four years old. After Jong Hyun completing middle school and high school there, he and his family returned to Busan. 

Jong Hyun got attention from netizens with photos of his uljjang past (Ulzzang Childhood) revealed. It has been known that Jong Hyun used to be a famous uljjang (“best face”) on the internet before his singer debut. Jong Hyun has the ability to taekwondo and judo. His level had reached the black belt is the highest level in Taekwondo and Judo. In 2007, Jong Hyun joined at FNC Music Entertainment after he audition in FNC Music audition and was accepted around the same time as Jung Yonghwa and Kang Minhyuk and then he began training in bass technology at FNC Academy. Jong Hyun first met Jung Yonghwa when they were on their way to Seoul for FNC Music audition. 

In 2009, Jong Hyun also left for Japan to study music with his bandmates in CN Blue. In June 2009 while staying there, they did street performances and released indie albums. On August 19, 2009 Jong Hyun made his singer debut with his band CN Blue in Japan with their mini album 'Now or Never' and before they issued their debut in Korea, they released 2nd mini album 'Voice' on November 25, 2009 recorded with both English and Japanese tracks. On January 14, 2010 they debuted in South Korea with their mini album 'Bluetory' with their famous single ' I Am A Loner' under FNC Entertainment.

In October 2010, Jong Hyun debuted as an actor through movie 'Acoustic' as Kim Seong Won together with his band mate Kang Minhyuk. In 2010, Jong Hyun with another CN Blue's members had participated in MBC We Got Married Jung Yonghwa and Girls' Generation Seohyun. On 26 May 2012, Jong Hyun was cast in SBS Television Drama A Gentleman's Dignity as Collin Black with Jang Dong-gun, Kim Ha-neul, Kim Min-jong,Kim Soo-ro and Lee Jong-hyuk.
