SHINee PROFILE
SHINee is South Korea boyband under SM Entertainment one of the largest entertainment companies in Asia. SHINee members consisting of leader Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and maknae Taemin. On May 25, 2008 SHINee debut with their single debut 'Replay' on SBS Inkigayo. SHINee name was explained to be a combination of the word "Shine" and "ee" meaning people receiving the light or in other words, the person in the limelight, and it also harbors the great ambition of SHINee to mesmerize a number of music fans across ages and borders with a wide variety of music. SHINee is considered to be a fashion icon having started the "Shinee Trend". The group suggests and leads the trend that suits the current world in all areas including lysics, dance, and fashion. They are known for highly synchronized and complicated dancing. SHINee will present their unique and trendy music while keeping contemporary images in dance and fashion.
On May 25, 2008 SHINee released their first mini album titled "Replay". Three months later, on August 28, 2008 SHINee released their first full-length album titled "The SHINee World". On October 30, 2008 SHINee re-released their full album 'The SHINee World' as a repackaged album under the name Amigo with three new songs. In 2009, SHINee comeback with their second mini album 'Romeo' with first single "Juliette" that released on May 18. SHINee originally planned comeback on May 21 due to Onew damaging his teeth and the release of the mini album was pushed back to May 25, 2009 SHINee eventually had their return performance on June 5, 2009, on KBS's Music Bank. Five month after released their second mini album 'Romeo' on October 19, 2009 SHINee released their third mini album titled '2009, Year Of Us'. The lead single, "Ring Ding Dong" making SHINee's name more famous in Asia. On July 19, 2010 SHINee released their new album titled 'Lucifer'. They are scheduled to comeback on KBS Music Bank on July 16 but due to Minho injuring his ankle during filming of Dream Team Season 2 on July 8, the comeback was postponed to July 23, 2010.
On December 26, 2010, SHINee started their first concert tour, "SHINee World" by holding their concert at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo. On January 1, 2011, SHINee performed a concert at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul as a part of their tour, SHINee World. The concert then continued at Taipei, Nanjing, Singapore, Nagoya, and Osaka throughout 2011. In 2011, SHINee began their debut in Japan under EMI Music Japan. On June 22, 2011 Japanese version 'Replay' was released. After that, Julliette who was released in Japan on June 22, 2011. On October 12, 2011, the group again released their third Japanese single "Lucifer". Finally, December 7, 2011 SHINee released their first Japanese Album titled 'The First'.
In 2012, SHINee made their comeback in Korea with their new mini album entitled Sherlock. Their title lead song "Sherlock (Clue + Note). Sherlock's album released on March 21, 2012 in South Korea. On May 16, 2012 SHINee released Japanese version Sherlock. On June 14, 2012 SM Entertainment announced SHINee will hold their second solo concert "SHINee World II". The tour kicked off in Seoul on July 21 and 22 at Olympic Gymnastics Arena.
