Park Bom (박봄) or people generally known as Bom (봄) is member of South Korea girl group 2NE1. Bom was born in Seoul, South Korea on April 24, 1984. When Grade 6 elementary school, Bom and her family moved to the United States. She graduated high school and enrolled at Lesley University with a psychology major. However, she had dreams to become a singer. But her parents didn't allow it. However, with encouragement from her aunt, Bom transferred to Berklee College of Music in Boston with a vocalist major. Before the audition on YG Entertainment, Bom ever auditioned on SM Entertainment but was rejected. After that, Bom auditioned to become a singer at YG Entertainment, but was rejected multiple times. After three years, in 2005 she finally passed and began receiving training. YG Entertainment originally planned to make the group consisting of three members of the Bom, Goo Hye Sun and Sandara Park but in 2009 Bom and Sandara Park put in 2NE1. On May 6, 2009 Bom and her group 2NE1 released their single debut title "Fire". On May 17, 2009 they debuted on stage with their single debuted "Fire" at SBS Inkigayo.


In addition to being the oldest member, Bom also has a motherly nature, so she called "Mommy'' by the other members. Bom is also a member of the most beautiful and sexy in 2NE1. She was elected as a member of girl group that beautiful face and bodied like a doll. She was also selected as one of the "Natural Beauties" on YSTAR. But, Bom ever suffered from lymph node inflammation, which causes certain areas of her body to swell. Park Bom is one of the best female singer in Korea. Her voice was praised by many people like, Bigbang Taeyang and G-Dragon. Before debuted Bom and her group 2NE1 released the song "Lollipop" with her labelmate Bigbang for LG Electronics to promote their Cyon phone on March 27, 2009.


Before debuted with 2NE1, in 2006 Bom collaboration with Bigbang in song "We Belong Together" and "Forever With You". In the same year, Bom with her labelmates Bigbang, Lexy, Masta Wu and Korean Actress Lee Hyori starred in her CF, "Anystar". She and her label mates G-Dragon and Gummy, recording their own version of the Anycall "Anystar" song. In 2007 Bom also collaborated with Lexy in "Baby Boy" and Red Roc in "Along My Way". In 2008, she starred in Kim Ji Eun's music video "Tell Me Once More". On October 28th, 2009 Bom released her own solo singles "You and I". In late 2010, Bom was featured on GD & TOP's single "Oh Yeah" for their first collaboration album. She was also featured in the Japanese version of the song, as well as the MV for the Japanese version. On April 21, 2011 Bom released her solo single, titled "Don't Cry".
